Service Description

The leg drag is more than a single guard pass. It is a powerful control position that allows you to shut down your opponent’s movement, expose their back and connect directly to dominant positions. Professor Rad's approach has been shaped by more than 20 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, training in Brazil, competing internationally, and spending two months training daily at Art of Jiu-Jitsu in California, the academy created by Rafa and Gui Mendes, two of the most influential figures in modern Jiu-Jitsu. Alongside Jiu-Jitsu, Professor Rad has trained Capoeira for 24 years. That experience has given him a different understanding of movement, balance, timing and body control. In this two-hour seminar, Professor Rad will break down the leg-drag passing system step by step. We will explore: * Creating the correct angle for the leg drag * Controlling the hips and preventing guard recovery * Using grips, pressure and body positioning efficiently * Leg-drag entries against different guards * Passing directly to side control * Exposing the back and transitioning to back takes * Linking the leg drag with the knee slice and other passes * Responding when your opponent frames, turns or escapes The goal is not to memorise one pass. You will learn how to use the leg drag as a connected system for controlling reactions and progressing towards dominant positions. Suitable for beginners who want to develop a strong passing foundation and experienced practitioners who want to sharpen their leg-drag control and transitions. With Professor Rad 1st-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Capoeira Master 20+ years in Jiu-Jitsu 24 years in Capoeira 📍 Art of Movement, Bristol 🥋 Everyone welcome
