We are an independent school with a family feel, offering a safe and caring environment where everyone can learn surrounded by a supportive team. Our workshops are designed to help you build the skills, fitness, and mindset necessary to effectively protect yourself in various situations, while gradually improving your abilities week by week.
Our classes are open to all levels, including beginners. There is no fitness level required to start self defense.

Self defence near me
We deliver self defence classes in our club, in central Bristol, near the Lawrence Hill train station. There is easy off-street parking around the club and our main entrance is on Church street via the double red doors.

Our Self defence workshops are friendly, technical, inclusive and open to all levels especially beginners.
If you feel like you aren’t experienced enough to join, please don’t worry. There will always be someone with more experience to help you go through new moves and sequences or someone to answer all your questions.

There is no age restriction or fitness level required to join self defence. Our club prides itself for promoting a healthy lifestyle in a family friendly environment. We believe a great club is all about the people.
What to wear in self defence class
We recommend wearing comfortable, flexible clothing that allows for a full range of motion: Leggings/ joggers and a fitted t-shirt. Please avoid loose or baggy clothes such as harem trousers.
