THE PEOPLE BEHIND AOM.
MEET THE TEAM
Experience, creativity and community come together at Art of Movement Bristol, an independent academy built around thoughtful teaching and a shared love of movement.
ART OF MOVEMENT BRISTOL.
SERIOUS TRAINING.
WELCOMING COMMUNITY.
AOM is shaped by the different strengths of the people behind it. Technical martial arts knowledge matters but so do patience, creativity, organisation and the ability to make people feel part of something.
Our team brings together Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Capoeira, Self Defence, Movement, coaching and community-building experience. The result is an academy where people can train with purpose while still enjoying the journey.

COMMUNITY & AOM OPERATIONS
With a longstanding interest in dance, music and movement, Lise has always enjoyed bringing people together through physical activity.
She now teaches Capoeira group classes, supporting both adults and children as they develop their confidence, coordination and understanding of the art.
Alongside teaching, Lise plays a central role in the organisation and day-to-day running of AOM. She is particularly passionate about creating a welcoming community where students and families feel connected, not only during classes, but beyond the training space.
For Lise, the heart of the club has always been its people. She wears many hats and can usually find a reason to bring students and parents together, often around a good meal, because few things build community quite like great food.
Her motto: If you can be anything, be kind.
