Terms & Conditions
The use of the term student is referring to anyone, child or adult, who participates in training with Art of Movement Bristol.

1.0 Attendance and punctuality
Art of Movement reserves the right to refuse access to any student who arrives late in class, in order to maintain the integrity of the class and ensure the best learning experience for all participants. Students should arrive at least 10 mins before the scheduled class time.
Punctuality is crucial for both kids and adults as it fosters discipline, respect, and a structured learning environment. Arriving on time ensures that participants do not miss important warm-up exercises, safety instructions, and foundational techniques that set the stage for the rest of the class. For children, it instills a sense of responsibility and helps them develop time management skills. For adults, punctuality reflects commitment and respect for the instructor and fellow students, enhancing the overall effectiveness and cohesiveness of the training session.
2.0 Change of location and time
Art of Movement reserves the right to change the time or location of any classes. In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled, Art of Movement will provide as much notice as possible as well as alternative training sessions when/ if possible.
3.0 Attendance in class (parents, friends, relatives)
Please understand the difference between coaching & parenting. We ask parents, friends and/or relatives to not interact with kids during class. By interacting we mean: coaching, speaking, criticising, shouting and/ or threatening. Kids need to learn the ropes and on their own and answer to their instructor independently.
3.1 Please remain in the parents designated area (see area marked in yellow on the below picture). Parents are not permitted to step on and walk around the mat area.

3.2 No phone or loud conversation during class in the hall.
3.3 If you are waiting inside the training hall with other kids, it is your responsibility to make sure they quietly remain in the designated area.
3.4 We are always happy to hear from parents/ students. Questions or comments can be made to the instructor, before or after class, depending on availabilities and class schedule. If this is not possible, please do send us an email (hello@artofmovementbristol.com ) and we will get back to you.

5.0 Misconduct & behaviour
At Art of Movement, maintaining a positive and respectful environment is paramount. All students are expected to demonstrate courtesy, self-discipline, and integrity both in and out of class. Any form of misconduct, including disrespect towards instructors or fellow students, bullying, or inappropriate language, will not be tolerated. Disciplinary actions, ranging from verbal warnings to suspension or expulsion, will be enforced depending on the severity of the behaviour. This policy ensures a safe and supportive atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth for all members.
The above applies to parents, relatives, friends and/or visitors.
6.0 Personal Belongings
We cannot be held responsible for any personal belongings lost or stolen during a training session. It is strongly advised that anything of value be left at home. If you/ your child, has left personal belongings in the club we would usually put it on the side so it may be collected during the next class.
