PROFESSOR MARCELO COPPA
Fourth degree black belt
Fourth degree black belt, Professor Marcelo is an international referee for IBJJF and the head referee for the UKBJJA, teaching and promoting referee courses around the UK. He is also an international referee for CBJJE (Brazilian federation) and UAEJJF (UAE International).
He has been competing around the world since being a white belt and won several championships including world titles in Abu Dhabi, Brazil, Vienna, Cali, UAE tournaments, Pan-American and many more.

Black Belt since 2005, Professor Marcelo completed a degree of Physical Education with specialisations in the field of sports, fitness, educational, psychology and oriental therapy.
​
He travelled around the world in more than 25 countries over the last 20 years, teaching, refereeing, competing, running tournaments, making educational and military projects, promoting and helping developing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
